She is a strong supporter of, and sees the best results with, the TheraSuit® Method and Task-Specific Electrical Stimulation. These methods follow evidence-based practise: improving awareness, activation, and specific strengthening of the correct muscles and muscle patterns that a child needs.
Her treatment is different from conventional physiotherapy treatment. Treatment is most effective more than once a week, for a minimum of 1 hour, and reinforced through the right home exercise program for your child. She also oversees the more advanced TheraSuit® Method Intensives.
Rim maintains her mentee-relationship with physiotherapists outside of Canada who developed and teach the TheraSuit® Method. She often travels to further develop her skills and continual learning, and to collaborate with physiotherapists regarding mutual patients.
Rim’s broad education allows her multiple perspective and directions for pediatric treatment. Rim’s work with children is motivated by deep compassion and is made successful through her infinite drive for learning and self-improvement. She creates a warm and welcoming environment for children to thrive. Every treatment has specific intention and goal in mind. Her attention to detail and her insight allows for a very individualized approach when treating your child.
Rim encourages collaboration among her team members on treatment plans for shared patients to consider all perspectives for optimal results. She is a mentor at her clinic, and shares her wisdom with her staff. She often collaborates with other professions and refers for surgical consults, conductive education, occupational therapy, and diet as needed.
Rim has four children of her own. She enjoys walks, cycling, and watching movies.
