Mousam’s aim to make a positive difference in every child’s life is a driving force for her to start her journey in the field of Pediatric Physiotherapy. She completed her Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy in Mumbai, India in 2013 from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). Her compassion and creativity can be seen in her sessions, as she uses fun, play-based, integrating both sensory and motor activities to work towards family-centred goals for the child.
Mousam has worked as a neonatal therapist in Level III NICU in Mumbai, India. Her love to work with babies and supporting early intervention bloomed to its peak while she worked in NICU. Seeing the difference we could make by early intervention, she was motivated to learn more about the pre-habilitative approaches and assessments for preterm and infants. Thus, she pursued further study to specialise in this field and became a Certified Neonatal Therapist (C/CNT).
With more than 10 years of pediatric experience, Mousam’s proficiency ranges from clinical to hospital settings, working effectively in multi-disciplinary teams and providing a holistic approach to the overall development of the child. Being a certified aquatic therapist, she combines multiple treatment techniques to enable optimum outcome for her patients.
Mousam is extremely passionate to expand her knowledge domain and skillset with the objective of delivering better results in her sessions. Mousam’s drive for continuous improvement can be seen from her numerous post-graduation certifications and trainings undertaken in the field of neonatal, early intervention and pediatric rehabilitation.
For leisure, Mousam is a travel enthusiast who enjoys exploring new places, food, and culture.
