Madeline completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Guelph in Biomedical Science, where she competed on the varsity Cross Country Skiing team. Her love of human anatomy and physiology naturally led her toward a career in the rehabilitation sciences. She completed additional workshops in leadership, became involved in research, and worked as a student-athlete mentor and a physiotherapy assistant.
Madeline then completed her Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2021. There she developed interest in working with both the orthopedic and neurologic populations, and advanced her critical reasoning skills for physiotherapy assessment and treatments. Although she always knew she loved working with children, her love for pediatric physiotherapy came to light during her final placement at All About Kids Rehabilitation Centre. She loved it so much she just couldn’t leave!
Madeline uses a combination of TheraSuit® Method exercises, play based activities, and Task-Specific Electrical Stimulation to target both patient and family centered goals.
