All About Kids Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

All About Kids Rehab offers pediatric physiotherapy, occupational therapy, the Bridging the Gap Program, and The TheraSuit® Method. We support children with sports injuries, musculoskeletal concerns, cerebral palsy, neurological conditions, and developmental challenges through individualized, family-centred care.

Can I leave during my child’s appointment?

We require your stay during your young person's first appointment, but you can leave during any subsequent appointments. We just ask that you arrive on time at the end of their scheduled appointment.

Do you only treat children?

Our primary focus is children, but we will see adults interested in TheraSuit Method. For more adult services, you can check out our sister location, All About Physio!

Do I need a doctor’s referral?

No, you do not need a doctor’s referral for our pediatric services. However, some insurance companies will require a doctor’s referral to cover the cost of some of our services. We encourage you to call your insurance provider before booking.

Do you offer direct billing?

Not at this time. Direct billing is only offered at our sister location, All About Physio.

What forms of payment do you take?

For your convenience, we accept all major debit and credit cards through Clover, along with e-transfer payments. Please note that we do not accept cash.

Do you offer parking?

Yes, there is free parking available on-site including wheelchair-accessible parking.

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Including washrooms.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours cancellation notice. There is a fee for cancellations within 24 hours leading up to your appointment. We respect the time of our staff, clinicians, and patients!

What is All About Physio?

All About Physio is our sister location in Etobicoke, which is physiotherapy, chiropractic, and other services for adult patients. We do offer a few pediatric services there, as well. Especially our Bridging the Gap program, which helps your child transition into adulthood.

What should I wear to my first appointment?

We encourage you to wear loose, comfortable clothing and any athletic shoes, which include orthotics, if applicable.

A very special thank you to Stephanie, Moisan, and Katherine — they are absolutely amazing physiotherapists. They are not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but also incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with children. They took the time to explain everything, reassured both me and my child, and created such a positive and safe environment.

You can really feel that they genuinely care about each child’s recovery and well-being. Their encouragement and approach made a huge difference for us.

Also, the entire team — from reception to support staff — was so welcoming and helpful every step of the way.

She was so patient, kind, and knowledgeable with my daughter. Stephanie made our session fun and engaging, and she gave us so many helpful tips and tricks to strengthen my daughter’s standing and walking skills at home. We noticed progress and more confidence in her steps thanks to Stephanie’s guidance.
